A simple way to stay present

A very simple way to stay present is to use your non dominant hand; cleaning teeth, buttering toast, opening doors, getting dressed. It will help you to be aware of the day to day stuff that you usually do on automatic pilot - whilst your thoughts are elsewhere. Keep your brain awake today by using your non dominant hand as much as possible and see how much more alert you feel.
